Residential work brings a mix of inquiries

A Peel residential electrician’s phone mixes planned projects with urgent problems:

  • EV chargers — homeowners who just bought an electric vehicle and want a Level 2 charger in the garage or driveway.
  • Panel upgrades — older homes adding a charger, heat pump or addition and needing more capacity.
  • Renovations — basement apartments, kitchens and lighting redesigns that need an estimate before work starts.
  • No-power calls — a tripped main, a dead circuit or a partial outage that the homeowner wants looked at today.

Project callers often contact a few contractors for quotes; urgent callers move on quickly. Either way, a fast reply helps.

The text a caller gets

Sorry we missed your call – [Your Shop]. Book an estimate or service visit: [your booking link]. Reply STOP to opt out.

It arrives about 30 seconds after the missed call, uses your existing Cal.com or Calendly link, and needs no app or new software for your crew.

Licensing stays with you

Homeowners in Ontario often look for an ESA-licensed electrical contractor. CallCatch has nothing to do with licensing or permits — it just helps the caller reach your shop.

Consent and STOP

Only people who just called your business number get a text, each text names your shop, and STOP replies are honoured. General information only, not legal advice.

Peel electrician FAQ

Can the text point EV charger and panel upgrade inquiries to a quote calendar?
The text uses one booking link that you choose, such as a Cal.com or Calendly page for estimates or site visits. Callers pick the slot that fits.
What about urgent no-power calls?
Every unanswered call gets the same text with your shop name and booking link, and the caller can still call you back. CallCatch doesn’t triage or dispatch.
Does CallCatch check ESA licensing or permits?
No. Licensing, permits and any notifications stay with your business. CallCatch only sends the missed-call text.
Is CallCatch available for Mississauga and Brampton shops?
Mississauga and Brampton are part of the GTA, where early access starts. Join the waitlist to be considered; spots and timing aren’t promised.
Is the text allowed under CASL?
It only goes to someone who just called your business number, names your shop and honours STOP replies. General information, not legal advice.
What does it cost?
$99 CAD per month with a 14-day trial. Cancel anytime.
